    Day 1 - Best Friend

    Tristin,

Oh, the good times we have had.  Our time together is fun, and interesting, and it keeps me sane.  It keeps me grounded and in the real world where you have your feet planted.
We have shared so much of our lives with each other.  From a time when we were selfish kids to now when we are selfless mothers.  We have seen each other rise and fall.  Me doing a lot of falling, and you doing a lot of rising.
I know I wasn't always the easiest friend.  Me and my walls.  I hate that I missed out on the time in your life where you found your husband.  I am so glad that I was a part of your wedding.
I hope we will always continue to support each other and be there for each other through anything.  I can't imagine anything that would break up our friendship now.
I know I've said it before, but I am so proud of you and all you do and who you are.  You inspire me, and you are a great example for my daughter.
I cherish our friendship, and I'm so thankful for it.  You have taught me so much about life and about myself.  You have accepted me just the way I am.  We are kindred spirits, dear friend.  I love you.
    Leah K.
